WHY: To provide updates on the missing Silah children—Alex age 12, Greg age 10, and Zaven age 8—and to ask the media to help get the word out about the tragic abduction by the boys’ fathers John and George Silah, who now have felony arrest warrants issued against them (August 1, 2008) and who are allegedly running from would-be killers who have left more than 44 violent voice mail messages on their cell phones (which indicates that the children are in imminent danger.
WHO:
- Lieutenant Richard Mossler of the LAPD will be providing the latest developments of the case and asking for the media and public’s help in locating, recovering and retrieving the Silah children.
- Ronald Brot of Brot & Gross LLP, the family law attorney who represents the two mothers of the missing Silah boys and who has been assisting the mothers since the boys went missing on or around July 2, 2008. He will address the meaning of the abduction charges, court orders issued on July 24, 2008 in LA Superior Court, as well as the mothers’ rights.
- Zanni Meguerian, mother of Alex and Zaven, and Christine Jeanbart, mother of Greg, will send out a message to the children and make an appeal to their ex-husbands to return their children unharmed.
- Lt. Mossler, attorney Ronald Brot, and both mothers will be available to answer questions regarding the case.
