I seriously hope these children are found.  Whatever trouble their fathers might be in, it is unfair and completely cruel to haul them around as they run both from the law and potential murderers.  That does not show love or caring for a child.  If they truly loved their children, they would never have taken them.  Zanni said that her ex-husband thinks that his children “belong” to him, which I don't doubt.  These men may be Greg's, Alex's, and Zaven's fathers, but they most certainly don't love them, not really.  George and John took their children simply because the children “belong” to them.  A loving parent would never put their child in a situation where they could be harmed or killed.

If I could say something to George and John, this would be it:

Have the courage to be selfless for once.  Turn yourselves in and get your children to where they can be safe.  Bring comfort and joy to your chidlren and their mothers.  If you do not have the courage to do this, then at least leave the chidlren somewhere.  In a grocery store, a church, a gas station, somewhere public where they can be found.  You can return to running away while protecting your children from harm or possible death.  Do you really want your sons to remember the summer that you kidnapped them, took them from their home and their mothers, endangering their lives by taking them on the run?  Assuming that you don't get your sons killed, do you think that you would earn their respect?  Do you think they will look up to you?  Do you think they will appreciate the selfishness of stealing them away and forcing them to hide out like criminals?  Do you want to steal away their childhood, those most precious of times?  Do you want to taint their memories with fear and anxiety?  They are only children.  They have done nothing wrong, yet they are being punished for your misdeeds.  They do not deserve it and they do not need it.  If you claim to love your children, prove it.  Bring them back.

It makes me heartsick.  My younger brother is 9, one year older than Zaven and one year younger than Greg.  I can only imagine how scared and  confused they must be.  They're just kids.  They're JUST KIDS.

We have to bring these boys home.
