Abducted by his father, Alex has been missing since July 2nd 2008.
Alex, my darling… I miss you so much it hurts! There isn’t a single moment that goes by without you in my thoughts and prayers. I know you’re very smart and you’ll figure out how to contact me soon.
Please don’t be afraid no matter what’s happening right now or what you’re being told, please know that I love you, I miss you, and I will do EVERYTHING in my power to bring you back home safely. We will be together again soon. I will never give up. I will never lose hope. I pray each moment for God to watch over you and keep you safe and lead you back to me.
Please take care of Zaven and Greg. I can’t wait till we’re together again!

Alex was abducted by his father on Wed, July 2nd. He was last seen on that day around 6:00 p.m. Alex is a typical 12 year old boy interested in spending time with friends, listening to music on his I-Pod and Youtube, text messaging his friends, and being on the cheer team. He’s a smart boy who’s friendly, talkative, and outgoing, and does well at school. Alex attends Westchester Lutheran School and he absolutely loves it! He’s quite proud of his Armenian heritage and loves learning Armenian language and culture at the St. James Armenian Church Sunday school.
Most of all Alex has a strong faith and a kind heart. He always loved helping people in need. In December of 2005, at 9 and a half years old, when we visited Santa Claus at the Grove in Los Angeles, Alex had written a note to Santa that said “All I want for Christmas this year is to help the poor and the sick people and for there to be peace”. This past year Alex’s music teacher discovered that Alex was a great tenor! He had a solo at the Christmas concert at Westchester Lutheran and he was so excited about it! Since then, he often envisioned having a band when he grows up where he would be the lead singer, and his friends, along with Greg (cousin) and Zaven (brother) would also be in the band.
- Alex’s biggest wish this summer was to go to Philadelphia to spend time with Grandma and his cousins after cheer camp of course!
- Alex’s favorite ice cream is ColdStone Creamery’s “cake batter ice cream mixed in with cookie dough”
- His favorite food is Salmon, Filet / Steak, and mommy’s home-made chocolate crepes.
- His favorite color (most recently) is black.
- His favorite band without a shadow of a doubt is Green Day (check out his youtube page / fallenboy 21).
- His favorite subject is Science / Social Studies
- His favorite instrument is the piano
- His favorite computer game is Maple Story
- His favorite store is EB Games and Borders Book Store
